Dave Potts

Dave Potts

Dave Potts is a name known in two surprisingly different circles.  Starting as a singer/songwriter, Dave travelled the country in his dusty red pickup, playing his earthy folk music in some of the country’s most prestigious venues.  His songs, rich with the essence of the South, earned him a dedicated following and numerous awards, including a first-place win in the International Acoustic Music Awards Folk/Americana/Roots category.

After years on the road, Dave settled in Auburn, Alabama where his music continued to evolve.  His work, celebrated for its storytelling and connection to small-town life was also recognized by the Kerrville Folk Festival as a 4-time New Folk Finalist and featured by Performing Songwriter Magazine.

After 14 albums of original music and 15 years of touring, Dave’s journey took an unexpected turn when he became one of the leading figures in the world of Fantasy Baseball.  This career change might seem surprising, but Dave approached fantasy baseball with the same passion and creativity that made him a successful recording artist.  He has won article of the year from the Fantasy Sports Writers Association and was just the 5th inductee into the National Fantasy Baseball Championship Hall Of Fame.
