- Create an account through Better Impact, if you haven’t already (this account is permanent for current and future volunteer opportunities). If you volunteered with Opelika Songwriters Festival in 2023 then you already have an account, username, and password.
- Once you’ve created an account, we’ll send you email announcements with information on when volunteer sign-up begins, details on positions, and important dates.

WHAT TYPES OF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES DO YOU HAVE AT THE FESTIVAL?
Setup/Teardown and Loading Crew, Golf Cart Drivers, Greeters, Merch and Box Office sales, Hospitality and more. The admin committee selects Venue Leads and Emcees; however, qualified applicants may self-assign for other roles.
HOW MANY HOURS DO I NEED TO VOLUNTEER TO EARN PERKS?
A minimum of 10 hours on site is required to earn a weekend pass; however, many volunteers commit to more than that, as most shifts put the volunteer in a position to enjoy the music while on the job. Depending on the role, other perks may be offered.
ARE VOLUNTEERS ALLOWED TO DRINK AT THE VENUE?
While on shift and/or wearing their crew shirts, volunteers are asked to refrain from alcohol or drugs.
